Why Today In exists
For over a decade, Wonderopolis was the go-to daily learning resource for millions of teachers and students. Every day, a new "wonder" arrived -- a short, engaging article that sparked curiosity across every grade level. Teachers used it as the perfect bell ringer: open the page, project it, and class begins.
When Wonderopolis shut down, 45 million learners lost that daily ritual overnight. Teachers went back to spending evenings on TPT, searching for tomorrow's warm-up. Bell ringer time became prep time again.
Today In was born to fill that gap -- and to do it better. Instead of a single article for all ages, we generate grade-specific content (K through 12, individually differentiated) with built-in vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension questions, all aligned to CCSS and subject-area standards. The daily wonder, rebuilt for today's classroom.
The Daily Wonder
Every school day, we generate a fresh, standards-aligned reading passage tied to what happened "on this day." Each bell ringer includes comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar questions -- differentiated across 13 grade levels (K through 12).
